Hardware or software crypto wallets. Which one is better for you?

So your looking at whether you should be holding your crypto in a hard or soft wallet. We have put together a bunch of pros and cons for the reasons for which ones to choose. As crypto and bitcoin continues to gather in popularity and its price continues on the uptrend thinking about the factors and which wallet you should be using to hold and store your crypto.

What is a hardware wallet?

Hardware wallets like Trezor have their advantages, the main disadvantage being that you have to carry around a physical product and you can forget it at times. You also need quite a big upfront cost.

What is a soft wallet? (like trustee)

Soft wallets are generally online, and most of the big exchanges have them. Its a case of having a seed phrase that you can store somewhere and then a easy user interphase but the downside is clear. Its all online and so having good cybersecurity is essential. As we have seen with FTX and its downfall its clear that you need to be careful with what soft wallets you are using. Check out Trustee
