What is a hardware wallet?

Hardwhere wallets like Trezor have their advantages, the main disadvantage being that you have to carry around a physical product and you can forget it at times. You also need quite a big upfront cost.

What is a soft wallet?

Soft wallets are generally online, and most of the big exchanges have them. Its a case of having a seed phrase that you can store somewhere and then a easy user interphase but the downside is clear.
